
Gurnish Singh Tiwana
Intensive Care Unit Nurse
After completing his undergraduate degree in 2016, Gurnish Singh joined Brampton Civic Hospital’s Emergency Department as a nurse. In this position, he provided acute care to patients suffering from life threatening health complications and injuries. In 2018, Gurnish Singh moved to the Intensive Care Unit and currently serves patients who are post-emergency but still in need of comprehensive care and supervision. In short, he strives to rehabilitate individuals in critical conditions and assists the sickest patients return to their baseline of health.
When he’s not working, Gurnish Singh enjoys writing poetry, playing tabla, joining friends for a game of basketball or soccer, and hiking (recommended destination: Canmore, Alberta). Notably, Gurnish Singh has travelled to 40 out of the 50 American States and also recently launched his own business with friends – www.thasssikh.com.
