Harprit Singh Brar

Senior Business Consultant in E-Commerce

Harprit Singh is a Senior Business Consultant in E-Commerce with Canadian Tire. In this position, he was recently tasked with helping launch Canadian Tire’s online Click and Collect service for customers. This required Harprit Singh and his team to look at the operations behind online orders or, in other words, ways in which they could make the customer experience as smooth as possible from purchase to pickup. In addition, his team worked to create a platform that would allow individual stores to pick and pack customer orders as fast as possible. Harprit Singh’s responsibilities also include leveraging technology to make stores more labour efficient and creating reporting measures + reports to determine how Canadian Tire is performing nationally and by store.

For students considering an MBA, Harprit Singh’s advice would be to never limit yourself and keep your options open. Furthermore, he would advise students to not fear trying their hand in a particular field as there are always opportunities to pivot and explore new opportunities later on in your career.

During his spare time, Harprit Singh enjoys playing and coaching soccer with the Northern Lions Football Club. He identifies as a sports fanatic and can usually be found watching sports whenever he has time to spare. Alongside his interest in sports, Harprit Singh enjoys reading about the financial market (especially real estate) and has an interest in investing.
