Ikdip Kaur Bains

Clinical Research Coordinator

Ikdip Kaur is a certified Clinical Research Coordinator currently working as a Research Assistant at the University of Waterloo (Public Health and Health Systems). In this position, she is conducting a national research study to improve conversations around end-of-life care in Canadian long-term care homes. Prior to this, Ikdip Kaur was a Research Coordinator at LMC Health Care Co. conducting clinical research trials on Type-2 Diabetes, cardiovascular health, nephrology prophylaxis, and cholesterol reduction.

Outside of the workplace, Ikdip Kaur is an Event Planning Committee Member and Sponsorship Chair for Muscular Dystrophy Canada. While completing her undergraduate degree at McMaster University, she also served as President of Sikh Student Association (SSA). During her free time, Ikdip Kaur enjoys practicing meditation, listening to Kirtan, as well as travelling, sketching, baking, and hiking. As a travel enthusiast, she has been on cruises to Eastern Canada and the Bahamas, and has travelled by car to British Columbia and Florida. Her favourite destination is Jamaica.
