Manvir Singh Brar

Entrepreneur, Professional Sports Athlete, Soccer Player

Manvir Singh is an elite soccer player that has travelled across the globe to pursue his passion for the game. He started his playing career in Brampton East and shortly moved on to the Ontario Provincial and NTC (National Training Center) Program. Through the NTC Program, Manvir Singh was able to represent the Canadian National Team at ages 15 and 16. He later was awarded an Athletic Scholarship to represent Simon Fraser University at the NCAA (National Collegiate Athletic Association) level. He also gained experience playing with England’s Southall FC (UK) from 2013 to 2015.

In 2016, this passion led him to kick off the Northern Lions FC, a Brampton based soccer club for youth of all skill levels. As the technical director, he oversees the day to day operations of the club, creates lesson plans for coaches, organizes summer camps, and coordinates workshops for the elite players. Alongside soccer development, Manvir Singh emphasizes education to create an atmosphere where players are encouraged to achieve academic excellence. As for the business administrative tasks, he is responsible for creating brand awareness, marketing, hiring and managing coaches, registrations, and legal work.

Accordingly, Manvir Singh is a resource for youth interested in entrepreneurship, playing sports professionally, or those seeking guidance on how to turn a passion into a career.
