The Bhagat Puran Singh Ji community cleanup is an annual initiative which celebrates Bhagat Ji’s legacy of environmentalism. Join volunteers as they clean up their community and share Bhagat Puran Singh Ji's legacy with other Canadians.
Participants will be assigned to groups which target major streets in Brampton while children will have the opportunity to clean parks and local trails.

The event will be held in September 2025 in Brampton, ON. Volunteers will meet at a central location before being guided to nearby cleanup routes. Final details on meeting point and timing will be shared with all registered participants via email.
Everyone is welcome! Families, students, and individuals of all ages can join. Children 13 years or younger must be accompanied by someone 14 or older.
We recommend dressing for the weather, whether that means layers if it is cool, hats and sunscreen if it is sunny, or a rain jacket if showers are expected. Comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes are best for the cleanup. Bringing a refillable water bottle is encouraged.
We will provide gloves, garbage bags, and safety vests for children!
Participants are encouraged to bring the following:
• A notebook and pen for taking notes during sessions
• Comfortable clothing appropriate for Gurdwara attendance
• Personal essentials (such as medication, if needed)
If you cannot attend in person, you can still support the event by making a donation to help cover the costs of supplies, transportation, and food for volunteers. Another way to contribute is by sharing the event posters and social media posts to help spread the word in your community.
