Gurlin Kaur is a teacher, currently on maternity leave and working towards a specialization in teaching elementary math. She completed her Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Biology at the University of Waterloo before receiving her Bachelor of Education from York University. She credits her involvement in the Waterloo Sikh Students Association with helping her reduce school-induced stress. Her advice to young students is "Prioritize 'me' time so you can put your all into all aspects of life. For example, build a morning routine that fuels your mind, body, and soul."
