Interestingly, before embarking on her career as an RPN, she initially had plans to become a lawyer. She attended law school but eventually decided to make the difficult decision to switch to nursing. Harjot Kaur regularly appears in court to represent mentally incapable adults across the province in a wide range of legal issues, including family law litigation, child protection matters, estate matters and civil proceedings.
